Features and Advantages - The DSS-1000 system uses demand-assigned multiple access (DAMA) for the terminal station's voice and data lines over a single channel per carrier (SCPC), and the terminal stations in the network are connected in the form of a network through the establishment of a call-by-call satellite line by the central control station, and communication between any terminal station is established by one satellite leap.
- The DSS-1000 system manages the entire network by the central control station and provides standard graphical user access, making it easy for operators to operate and maintain the network.
- The DSS-1000 system provides regular telephone, public telephone, private switch, PSTN, and synchronous/asynchronous data access, and has an exchange function inside the system, allowing communication between domestic subscribers of the same terminal to communicate without using satellite lines.
- The DSS-1000 system enables optimal network configuration at a minimum cost by configuring various base stations according to communication demand, and capacity expansion is possible by expanding only unit modules, making it the most economical to cope with the expected communication demand in the future.
- The applications of the DSS-1000 system vary from book wallpaper communications networks, national key communications networks, emergency disaster recovery communications networks, enterprise and private communications networks, administrative communications networks, and military communications networks.
- Currently, this system is exported and used in Korea Telecommunications and Africa.
